William E. Lunsford

Mr. William E. Lunsford, age 81, of Troy, died Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the Troy Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Ministers Bobby Templin, Randal Myers and Jon Hackett officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation was held Monday, October 3, 2011 from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Griswell Lunsford of Troy, two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Rita Lunsford of Dothan, Stanley and Tracy Lunsford of Lawrenceville, GA.; grandchildren, Kelly Lunsford, Heather (Adam) Harden, and Andrew (Courtney) Lunsford; great-grandchildren, Trinitie Lunsford, Avery Lunsford, and Ella Grace Lunsford; sisters, Annie Pearl Burks, Elizabeth Conner, both of Troy, and Jeanette (Paul) Taylor of Lawrenceville, GA., and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Wayne Burks, David Burks, Steve Taylor, Ronnie Ray, Eddie Jeffcoat, and Lomax McLean. Memorials may be made to the Collegedale Church of Christ.
