Mary Lucille Kelley

Mary Lucille Kelley, a resident of Dothan and formerly of Brundidge, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2011 at Flowers Hospital. She was 73.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge with Dr. Jerry Dooling officiating and Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Kelley was born November 16, 1937 and was raised in the Victoria Community in Coffee County. She lived in Union Springs, Brundidge, and later retired in Dothan. Mrs. Kelley was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her flowers, gardening and visiting with her neighbors and friends on Idlewilde Path.

She was predeceased by her parents, JC and Mary Claude Kelley, a son, Murry H. Singleton and a brother, Larry G. Kelley.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nona and Bill Colley of Dothan; three grandchildren, Lauren Colley of Tuscaloosa, William Colley and Brennan Colley, both of Dothan; a brother, Joe M. Kelley of Troy and several nieces and nephews.
