Dennis James Magee of Troy died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Noland Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama. He was 57. Funeral services for Dennis James Magee will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Pastor Donnie Dunn officiating. A private family burial will follow at Banks Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Thursday in the chapel. Mr. Magee was born Saturday, September 7, 1953 in Iowa son, of the late Jack Magee and Dorothy Humbert Magee of Troy. He faithfully served our country in the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Bethany Magee, Troy; 2 sons, William Matthew Magee and Michael Allan Magee, both of Troy; mother, Dorothy Magee, Troy; sister, Sherry Cook, Foley, AL; brother, Tim Magee, Troy; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Magee and his father, Jack Magee.
