The top four batters in the Troy lineup did most damage for the home team as Tyson Workman, Tyler Hannah, Adam Bryant and T.J. Rivera 10 hits and 10 RBIs.

After being named Sun Belt Player of the week, Hannah continued his hot-streak at the plate, reaching base all five times, while going 4-for-5, with a two-run home run and doubles.

Meanwhile, Bryant had an equally huge night at the plate thanks to his two three-run homers, while finishing the night 4-for-4.

The win helps bring Troy’s overall record to 38-15, with one more conference series against South Alabama ahead this weekend.

In all, the Trojans finished with 14 hits on the day and scored in every inning but the third, fifth and sixth.

Troy was able to go up by the score of 5-0 thanks to four Bulldog errors in the first two innings.

That would be more than enough for Troy-native Will Teal on the mound.

The former Charles Henderson Trojan went four innings, giving up just one run off of hour hits, while walking two.

The four innings was the longest outing of the young Trojan career.

Following Teal in relief were four other Trojans, Thomas Austin, Cass Abercrombie, Garrett McHenry and Nick Ward.

Those pitchers combined to give up just two hits and no runs, while striking out six.
