Mrs. Vader Esther Allen Fortune age 99 of Brundidge died Sunday, May, 8, 2011 at the Troy Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 2:00 pm from the Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church with Reverend Ashley Faulk officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Ridge Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home. The will be a one hour lie-in-state at the church prior to the service.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Ruby Mauldin of Brundidge, Winnie and Jack Perkins of Ozark, Jane and Elmer Ellis of Brundidge, Judy and Wayne Craft of Troy, Joan and Keith Price of Troy, her sons and daughters-in-law Oliver and Dixie Fortune of Canby, OR., Gene and Jean Fortune of Troy, Amos Fortune of Troy, Leon and Sharon Fortune of Troy, a son-in-law Lloyd Senn of Brundidge, sister Alvenia Smith of Elba, brothers and a sister-in-law Claudie Allen of Phenix City, Aaron Allen of Flint, MI., Luther and Bobbie Allen of Enterprise, 29 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, several great great Grandchildren, several step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Fortune, parents Aubrey and Ellie Allen, a daughter Marie Senn, son Elvin Allen, grandchildren Molly Ann Perkins, Douglas Perkins, Stevie Allen, and Ronnie Allen, sister Etta Mae (J.T.) Brown, brothers Melvin (Irene) Allen, C.W. (Merle) Allen, Howard (Lois) Allen, brother-in-law Jim Steve Smith, and sisters-in-law Louise Allen and Willie Allen.

Active pallbearers will be Bart Ellis, Tony Fortune, Jarrod Price, Scotty Senn, Mark Perkins, Josh Fortune, and Johnny Fortune.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lauren Williams, Tim Fortune, Cody Fortune, Jay Ellis, Joey Whitehead, Jammie Whitehead, Lee Fortune, and Michael Fortune.
