Jessie James Vance, age 69 of Troy, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mr. Vance is survived by his wife: Diane Vance, Children: Tammy Deese, Sherry Vance, Jessie James “J.J.” Vance, Jr., Wesley Vance and Bryan Vance; step-daughter: Jodie Miller; brothers: Leon Vance, Jr., Wendell Vance and Jerry Wayne Vance; sistersGlenda Nelson, Becky Campbell, Sheila Armstrong and Lois Gilley and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Leon Vance Sr., and Bernice Vance and his son Jamie Lee Vance.

In-lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial be made to the Heaven’s Gate Cemetery Fund, 5586 Airport Road, Hartford, Alabama 36344.
