Glen Edward Dyess, age 64 of the New Hope Community died Monday, March 14, 2011 at the VA Hosptial in Birmingham.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the New Hope Baptist Church with Reverend Lanny Shepard officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge directing. There will be an hour lie in state at the church prior to the service.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 18, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Survivors include; Sisters, Betty Dunn of Troy, Kimlen and Jerry Dennis of New London NC, Mavis and Mike Flowers of Troy, Maebell Grantham of Troy. 8 Nieces and Nephews. Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Tamara McKinnon Dyess, Parents, Melvin and Lorenna Dyess and a niece Marsha Dawkins Lewis.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Dunn, Jerry Dennis, Tommy Carter, CLif Steed, Mike Flowers and Bobby Parish.
