Mrs. Patricia “PittyPat” Ramage Bryan Robertson Johnston of Daphne and formerly of Brundidge died March 7, 2011.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. today at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Daphne, with visitation beginning at 2 p.m.

Brundidge services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Brundidge United Methodist Church under the direction of Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge.

She was born and raised in Brundidge, the daughter of Lee and Mary Ramage and granddaughter of James T. Ramage. She had been a resident of the eastern shore since 1962, living in Fairhope, Montrose, Point Clear and Daphne. As a graduate of Auburn University, she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She was a teacher at Silverhill Elementary School and a founding faculty member of Bayside Academy. She was a longtime member of the Daphne Study Club and a Pink Lady at Thomas Hospital for 20 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and prior to that was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and Fairhope United Methodist Church for more than 40 years.

She is survived by her husband, Leon Johnston; two children, Pattie Bryan Sirmon and Lee Bryan; two stepgrandchildren, Robbie Robertson and Polly Robertson Parrish; and six grandchildren. Her first great-grandchild is expected in July. She also leaves behind a devoted nephew, Jimmy Ramage, and devoted friends, Betty Hixon and Mayretta Strother of Brundidge and Rosmary Cloeta-Anderson of South Africa.

She was extremely supportive of charities and in lieu of flowers and to honor her generosity the family requests donations be made to the donor’s charity of choice or to one of her favorite charities as follows: The Haven,; Baldwin County Humane Society,; Auburn University,; Shepherd Center,; or Project OpenHand,
