Services for Alice McGuire Jones were held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. L. C. McMillian officiating. Professional services were provided by Northport Funeral & Cremation Service, Northport, Alabama, and George F. Grubbs Funeral Home, Troy, Alabama.

Burial followed at the Carroll Street Cemetery, Troy, Alabama, under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home, Troy.

Visitation was held one hour prior to the service, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

Memories of Alice McGuire Jones’ life on earth will be cherished by: her daughters, Octavia (Charles) Miles of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Karen (Sylvester) Gunter of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, and Veronica (John) Williamson of Santa Maria, California; her sons, Anthony (Terri) Jones of Liberty, Missouri, and Franklin (Alyce) Jones of Fairfield, Alabama; a step-son, Bernard (Mildred) Jones of Brundidge, Alabama; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews cousins, and friends.
