Charles Winton White

Charles Winton White, age 80, died Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Troy Health and Rehab Center. Funeral services were held Sunday, January 23, 2011, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with the Rev. Otis Derrah officiating. Burial followed in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation was held Sunday, January 23, 2011 at 1 p.m.

Mr. White is preceded in death by his father, Dewey Sanford White; mother, Virtie Belle White; one brother, James Sanford White; and one sister, Corrinn Parker.

He is survived by one son, Michael White (Becky) of Canton, Ga.; one daughter, Diane Reynolds (Rick) of Troy; grandchildren, Richard Reynolds (Tanya), Steven Reynolds (Elizabeth), Chris White and Nikki Ledbetter (David); great-grandchildren, Connor Reynolds, Aiden Reynolds, Taylor Reynolds, Madison Reynolds, Will Ledbetter, and Allie Ledbetter; one brother in law, Ralph Bryan Parker.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Richard Reynolds, Steven Reynolds, and Chris White; nephews, Darrell Parker and Roger Parker and a friend Jere Vinson.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
