Lucille Raley Davis

Lucille Raley Davis, age 85, a resident of Luverne, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Evangelist Ben May, Billy Carter and Kayo Sipper officiating. Interment will follow in Elam Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her children Jaylylia Anne Davis Bruner and her husband James D., James L. Davis, Jr. and Conrad Rhett Davis; 4 grandchildren, Mary Anne Bruner, Justin Robert Conrad Davis, Sawyer Elizabeth Monroe Davis, Dakota Anne Meleigh Davis; great-granddaughter, Jordan Alexis Fowler; 2 sisters, Evelyn R. Mount and Sybil R. Tokarz; sister-in-law, Bernice Raley.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, Zollie Robert Raley and Mary Alice Davis Raley, her husband, James L. Davis, Sr., and her grandson James Holland “Jimmy” Bruner.
