Shipman December 31, 1960 and had two sons, James Terry, born February 9, 1962 and Alan Keith, born January 21, 1964.

“Miz” Shipman, as her students called her, touched many students’ lives in her years as a teacher. She will be remembered for all the students she taught and inspired and for how many students would come up to her years after she taught them and give her a big hug. She followed the Lord in all ways and has joined him and her sons in Heaven for all eternity.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
