Oscar James Carlton

Services for Oscar James Carlton, 47, who died December 23, 2010 at Troy Regional Medical Center will be at 11 a.m. December 29, 2010 at First Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Earnest Green officiating.

Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy. Visitation was from 2-5 p.m. December 28, 2010.

Mr. Carlton was born March 15, 1963 in Troy. At an early age he joined Mt. Olive #2 Missionary Baptist Church in Banks. He faithfully attended First Missionary Baptist Church until his passing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ola Mae Carlton.

Survivors include his loving wife, April Carlton; children, Corey D. Carter (Jackee) and Kimberly Carlton, all of Troy; granddaughter, Camrynn Carter, sisters and brother, Lola Williams (Reginald) of Detroit, Mi, Lucille Adams (Killroy) of Brundidge, Yvette Carlton, Yvonne Carlton and James Carlton of Troy; father-in-law, Edgar Carter of Troy; sisters-in-law, Deborah Carter of Montgomery and Merry Lewis (Eddie Ray) of Troy; aunts and uncles, Mable Harris, Annie Harris and Doris Cummings of Banks, D.C. Harris of Troy and Richard Ousley of Bainbridge, GA; several nieces, nephews , other relatives and friends.
