TRMC selects photo contest winners

Troy Regional Medical Center’s Relay for Life team has announced the winners of the team’s “Queen of Hope” photo pageant. The deadline for all entries was Dec. 17 with judging on Dec. 20.

The photo contest was a fundraiser for the 2011 Pike County Relay for Life campaign. There were 60 contestants and the photo pageant raised more than $2,000, said Hope Bundy, pageant coordinator.

Asa Thompson was named the Price of Hope and Katie Lynn Lee was chosen the Princess of Hope,” Bundy said. “The young prince raised more than $1,000 for the Troy Regional Medical Center Relay for Life team and the princess raised more than $100.

“We want thank all of the contestants and the team members who worked so hard to make the photo pageant a success. And we want to thank the winners.

The Baby Miss Queen was Julianna Knight, who also won prettiest hair, eyes, and smile.

Teeny Miss Queen: Holly Rae Stephens was chosen Teeny Miss Queen. Holly Rae also won prettiest hair, eyes and smile.

Tiny Miss Queen: Kenzie Beth Ray won prettiest eyes, hair and smile.

Little Miss Queen: Kate Nelson was named Little Miss Queen and took the titles prettiest hair, eyes and smile.

Junior Queen Makenzie Bundy was chosen the junior with the prettiest smile. In the junior division prettiest hair and prettiest eyes were awarded to Brittany Jacobs.

Teen Queen Roxi Teal also won prettiest hair, eyes and smile

Miss Queen: Kayla Garrett was chosen Miss Queen and was named the contestant with the prettiest hair. The prettiest eyes and smile awards went to Shae Flowers

Sheila Youngblood took the title of Mrs. Queen as well as that of prettiest hair and smile

Nicole McQaters was the contestant with the prettiest eyes.

The “Queen of Hope” photo pageant was open to girls and women ages to 100 and for boys and young men to age 18. The pageant was divided into age divisions and each contestant submitted from one to three photos for judging.

The winners were chosen by a panel of judges.
