Bonnie Lou Siler Jackson

Bonnie Lou Siler Jackson entered into this earthly world on January 4, 1926 to the late Henderson Siler and Willie Mae Siler in Pike County, Alabama.

At an early age she received Christ under the leadership of Rev. Lewis at Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church where she remained faithful until her demise on December 13, 2010. Bonnie served faithfully as President of the Usher’s Board, Eastern Star & Ballet Society. She was loved deeply by all of her family and friends. She will always be remembered as a loving homemaker. Later in life she met and united in Holy Matrimony to Jeff David Jackson on May 31, 1958 and to this union were born seven children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henderson and Willie Mae Siler; sisters, Lula Pease, Arie Pruitt and Helen Ward; brothers, Jessie Siler and A.C. Siler; and her great granddaughter.

Bonnie “Fi” leaves to cherish her precious memories: a loving and devoted husband, caretaker and friend for 52 years, Jeff David Jackson; seven children, Eugene (Betty Mae) Siler of Troy, Alabama, Patricia (Mike) Young of Saginaw, Michigan, Dorothy (Kim) Richardson, Shirley (Cecil) Maddox, Edward Jackson, David (Annie) Jackson and Freeman Jackson, all of Troy, Alabama; five adoptive children, Doris Teague “My Scoop”, Willie and Mary Helen Darby, Rachel Brown, Mary Ann Flowers “Fat Girl” and Edward J. Walter; sisters, Mamie Joyce Siler of Meridian, Mississippi, Hazel (Bruce) Williams and Juanita (Charlie) Green of Troy, Alabama; brother, Bobby Jo (Gussie) Siler of Chicago, Illinois; twenty-four grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends
