Eddie B. Pierson

Services for Eddie B. Pierson who died Sunday, November 07, 2010 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery were at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010 at County Line Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Carl L.Hollis officiating.

Burial was in County Line Church Cemetery under the direction of Grubbs Funeral Home of Troy.

Mr. Pierson was born July 26, 1953 in Brundidge. At an early age he attended the local public schools in Brundidge and joined County Line Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Mack Pierson, Sr.; mother, Lorine Pierson; brother, Maxwell Pierson and two sisters, Palestine Pierson and Emma Jones.

Survivors include two children, Eddie Braxton Pierson, Jr. and Kiara Zipporah Pierson, both of Troy; very devoted ex-wife who cared for him during his illness, Patricia A. Brooks; six sisters, Sarah Pierson, Mary Dean Pierson and Lorine Shipman all of Brundidge; Annie Cole of Troy,

Mildred Pierson of Washington D.C. and Janette Burris of Temple Hills, Maryland; brother, James Mack Pierson, Jr. of Detroit, Michigan, three brothers-in-law, Ewell Shipman of Brundidge, Charles Cole, Sr. of Elba and Michael Burris of Temple Hills Maryland; aunt, Mamie Rodgers of Dothan; two uncles, Jack Rodgers of Dothan and Eddie Rodgers of Detroit; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a friend, Jewell Brandon.
