Mrs. Ruby Stewart, 85, of Brundidge passed away Tuesday, November 09, 2010 at her home in Brundidge.
Visitation for Mrs. Stewart will be Thursday, November 11, 2010 between the hours of 6 o’clock and 8 o’clock p.m. at Thrash-Keahey Funeral home in Brundidge.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 12, 2010 at 11 o’clock a.m. with a 30 minute lie-in-state prior to the service at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Brundidge with the Reverends Roger Waldrop, Mark Stephens and Mack King officiating.
Survivors include her children, Johnny and Edra Dunn of Brundidge, Rita and Sam Peak of Prattville, Louie Frank and Elizabeth Fryer of Montgomery, Mary Jean and Tommy Hall of Blakely, Georgia, Faye Miller of Elba and Vicki Abbott of Ozark; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a sister, Rose Brown of Josie.
Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stewart and grandson, Tom Hall.
Pallbearers will be Chad Peak, Chris Peak, Jason Abbott, Matthew Abbott, Justin McLaughlin, Nick McLaughlin, Zack Ward and Jordan Peak.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Montgomery Area Food Bank at 521 Trade Center St, Montgomery, AL 36108 or the Disabled American Veterans.
Visitation and services are under the direction of Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge.
