Jerry Louis Sikes, 80, of Ebenezer, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, 11 a.m., from Macedonia Baptist Church, Almeria Community, with Rev. Earl Oakes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Sikes. He is survived by four sons: Louis (Dianne) Sikes of Goshen, George Sikes of Ebenezer, Charles (Kathy) Sikes of Troy and James (Teresa) Sikes of Troy; grandchildren: Jondalton Sikes, Tonya Sikes, Kenneth Sikes, Ronnie Sikes, Jonathan Sikes, Josh Sikes, Mike Sikes, Justin Sikes, Tyler Sikes, Bryan Sikes; great-grandchildren: Tylar, Austin, Mattie, Charles Sikes, Jade, Levi, Conner Sikes and Logan Cambell. Pallbearers will be Louis Sikes, George Sikes, Eugene Kilpatrick, Ricky Murphy, Junior Riley and Coby McLendon. The body will lie in state at his home from noon Tuesday, Nov. 9 until 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 10.
