Mr. Travis Gerald “Pee Wee” Meeks age 69 of Troy died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at his home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 4:00 pm from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend David Zorn officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife Bertha Meeks of Troy, his sons Travis Meeks of Troy, Jimbo (Michelle) Meeks of Troy, Jeff Lang of Talladega, Adam Meeks of Missouri, daughter Deborah (Joe Allen) Gay of Louisville, his grandchildren Ross and Rachel Meeks, James Ray Meeks Jr., Jonathan Meeks, LeAnn Meeks, Stephen Meeks, Stephen Pugh, Rebecca Jones, Zackary Meeks, Gage Ballard, Sydney Ballard, and Taylor Ballard, a brother Joseph Meeks, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Minnie Lee Meeks, a sister Eloise Mills, and 2 brothers Leonard Meeks Jr., and Leon Meeks.

Active pallbearers will Travis Meeks, Jimbo Meeks, Ross Meeks, Louis Davis, Clifton Davis, and Jamie Adams.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Mobley, Mitchell Harris and Benny Beard.
