“The kids always love that, they do fun things with the kids from serious bible studies to catchy funny songs,” said First Baptist Church Administrator Debbie Chance.

Following the festival, First Baptist will host a Spaghetti Supper in the Activities Building located on West College Street. Spaghetti plates will come with salad, bread and dessert for $5 per plate. All the funds collected from the supper will go to the mission fund.

“A lot of people don’t know where First Baptist is and this is an opportunity for the community to come out,” she said, adding the church particularly invites anyone “who may be looking for a church. We will have a table set up with church information at the event. This is a way to reach out to the community let them know our presence and maybe minister to them down the road.”

In case of rain, the event will be held inside the Family Life Center. “Rain or shine it will be an event,” Chance said. The Family Life Center is located on the corner of West College Street and North Three Notch Street.
