Bar Association bids fond farewell to Peacock

Published 9:09 pm Thursday, October 14, 2010

On behalf of the members of the Pike County Bar Association, I would like to give the greatest of well-wishes to our retiring Circuit Clerk, Mrs. Brenda Peacock. Mrs. Peacock will retire today after many years of serving not only the attorneys of this Bar, but also every attorney and their respective clients who ever had a case in Pike County. The job of Circuit Clerk is not an easy one, and requires someone with special people skills to succeed, and Mrs. Peacock has certainly done just that. Again, we wish you the best, and will miss you.

I also want to take this opportunity to welcome Jamie Scarbrough as the new Circuit Clerk, and we wish her the best in transitioning into the new position. It has been a pleasure working with Jamie in the past, and we look forward to more of the same in the future. The people of Pike County are fortunate to have such a good person as our new Circuit Clerk.

Malcolm McSwean, President
