The Pike County Board of Education will be providing free bus transportation for parents and students. Buses will be present beginning at 4:45 p.m. with pick-ups available at Goshen High School, Sun Trace Mobile Home Park, Pike County High School and Banks Middle School.

“We are expecting 400 parents this year as this expo has always been a big success,” said Elizabeth Grubbs the Community Director and Administrator assistant for the Superintendent.

The idea here is to show that the school system has a friendly community and parent relationship, giving parents the chance to speak with teachers first hand while showcasing what we’re doing with new technologies and other areas explained Grubbs.

Every school teacher and administrator will be present at the expo for the community and for parents to have a chance to meet and see who their children come into contact with while obtaining their education.
