Jerry Lamar Floyd

Mr. Jerry Lamar Floyd, age 74, a resident of Troy, died Monday, October 4, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Andrew Knick officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mr. Floyd is survived by his wife, Mary Dunn Floyd, 2 sons: Jerry Michael Floyd and his wife Tracey, James Todd Floyd is his wife Amy a daughter Kelli Leanne Floyd; brothers, William Leighton Floyd and his wife Jean, Robert Lawrence Floyd and his wife Linda; 1 sister, Ann Barron and her husband Marvin; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and a host of friends.

Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Lynn Floyd and his parents, Jethro Lamar Floyd and Sara Olene Floyd.

Pallbearers will be Scott Dunn, Whit Dunn, Ed Meadows, Mitchel Harris, Jack Davis, Michael Dunn and Walter Murphy.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Floyd Construction.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Heart Fund or the American Cancer Society.
