Melvin Bryan Huggins, 79, died Sunday September 26, 2010 at Parthanon Nursing Home in Crestview , Florida , following an extended illness.

Mr. Huggins was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Huggins, one brother, Jessie Benton Huggins, and one sister, Jimmie Valita Huggins Covington.

His survivors include, Two sisters, Johnnie Maxine Huggins Long and Mary Frances Huggins Clark, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Harmony Baptist Church in Troy with Dr. Malone Chandler and Curtis Faulkner officiating. Local announcement provided by Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
