Margaret Janet Tew

Margaret Janet Tew, 80, of Brundidge passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010.

Visitation was Monday, September 13, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. at Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, at Springfield Baptist Church with Reverends Ken Baggett and Bradley Tew officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery in Louisville (Barbour County).

Margaret Janet Tew was born October 1, 1929 to the late David and Bessie Mae Tew.

Survivors include her children, Sheila Royse and Sonya and Fred Taylor of Brundidge; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Chris Parrish, Vicki King, Aaron and Rhonda Taylor and Hannah and Heath Bozeman; great-grandchildren, Laurenn and Carling Parrish, Phillip King and Samuel Bozeman; brothers, Rev. Bradley (Mary) Tew and Gaston (Sherry) Tew; sister, Sandra (Dean) Cannon and sister-in-law, Mrytis Tew.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the Gideons, P.O. Box 245, Troy, Al. 36081 or Sav-A-Life of Troy.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons, Aaron Taylor, Phillip King and Samuel Bozeman.

Services will be under the direction of Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge.
