Bobbie Louise Reeves Woodard, age 71, a resident of Troy, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy Reverend Mark Salmon officiating. Interment will follow in Sandfield Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and one hour prior to the service at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Mrs. Woodard is survived by her 3 daughters: Deborah (Ron) Edwards of Troy, Wanda Woodard of Troy, Teresa (Mike) Phillips of Troy; her son Thomas Athia Woodard of Troy; mother Gladys Tyler Reeves of Troy; sister Ruby Jean (Lynn) Jinks of Montgomery; grandchildren: Charles Athia Collins, Laura Elizabeth Collins, Parker Edwards, Andrew Edwards, Hannah Edwards, Joshua Phillips, Lacey Philips and Nathan Phillips; adopted daughter Joy (Allen) Phillips; sisters-in-law Jewel Hendley, Sara Woodard (Joe) Overstreet and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Woodard was preceded in death by her husband Athia Woodard, father Stell Reeves; 2 brothers Robert Reeves and Jimmy (Edna) Reeves and a sister Mary Helen (Henry) Singleton.
