In the Pike Liberal Arts 40-7 victory over Macon-East last Friday night, the Patriots’ offense had a big night, however, the defense was just as productive.

Leading the charge for PLAS was junior linebacker, Nick McLaughlin.

While the running back also run for 190 yards and three touchdowns, he was a force to be reckoned with against the Knights defensively, as he finished with a fumble recovery, an interception and eight tackles.

This is McLaughlin’s first season at the linebacker position, as he was seen in the secondary during the 2009 season.
