Mrs. Betty Jean Jeffcoat Stroud of Troy died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 10:00 am in Green Hills Memorial Park with Dr. Malone Chandler and Ramon Stroud officiating, Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
She is survived by her husband John Henry Stroud of Troy, a daughter Brenda Stroud (Charles Register) of Troy, sons Johnny Stroud of Birmingham and Donald Stroud of Dothan, a sister Vara Larkin of Birmingham, grandchildren Joey Richardson, Brad and Samantha Richardson, Amanda Richardson, David and Allison Stroud and Jennifer and Dan Kramer, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
Active pallbearers will be Royce Stroud, Ramon Stroud, Steve Stroud, Ryan Crawley, Brian Arrington, and Kevin Childs.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Department of Conservation and the ladies of Olivers.
