Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 4:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverends Frank Lowery and Jimmy Grier officiating, with special words given by her nephew Bobby Mitchell. Burial will follow in the Banks Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dubose was preceded in death by her parents Monroe and Maggie Morgan, 8 brothers and sisters, and her husband Malcolm Thomas Dubose Jr.
She is survived by 4 children Nancy and Lamar Livingston of Troy, Gail and Fred Copeland of Troy, John and Shelby Dubose of Niceville, Mike and Mary Dubose of Banks, a sister Gladys Windham of Banks, 3 sisters-in-law Margaret Mitchell of Columbus, Sherrie Barron of Austin, and Juanita Morgan of Seale, 9 grandchildren Kerry Livingston, John Dubose, Chris Copeland, Chad Copeland, Morgan and Jake Dubose, T.J. Dubose, Shannon Matlaga and Carmen Dubose, and 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a special friend Jean Carroll of Banks.
Active Pallbearers will be Bobby Williamson, Tommy Mitchell, Chris and Chad Copeland, John Dubose and Jake Dubose.
Phillip Morgan will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church, the Montgomery Cancer Center, the Banks Cemetery or Alacare Hospice.
