Mr. Herbert H. “Hub” Youngblood age 79 of Troy Died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at his home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 11:00 am from the Old Lebanon Baptist Church with Reverend Perry Green officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. There will also be a 30 minute lie-in-state at the Church prior to the service.
He is survived by his Wife Anne H. Youngblood of Troy, his children Anna Youngblood (Dan) Daniel of Bainbridge, GA., Donna Youngblood (Richard Michael Jr.) Morgan of Troy, and H. Howard (Amber) Youngblood of Alabaster, his grandchildren Jeremy Dallas Floyd, Jason Christopher (Megan) Daniel, Jessica Ashley Daniel, Logan Howard Youngblood, and Carson Rhett Youngblood, 2 sisters Ona Myrle Davis and Ruth Green.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Thomas and Marah Motes Youngblood, and his brothers Thomas Hebron Youngblood, and Clifton Motes Youngblood.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men’s Sunday School Class at Old Lebanon, and Thomas Wilbur “Hawk” Davis.
Active pallbearers will be his nephews William, Herbie and Rickey Davis and fellow church members David Johnson, David Gibson and John Nunnelee.
Memorials may be made to the Old Lebanon Cemetery Fund.
