Services for Herman (Quil) Coward, 70, of Crestview, Florida who died Sunday, July 04, 2010 at North Okaloosa Medical Center will be at 11 a.m. July 10, 2010 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. William Davis officiating.
Herman was born June 01, 1940 in Union Springs to the late Otis Lee Coward and Annie Pearl Johnson Coward. He was a self-employed concrete contractor and enjoyed doing mechanical work on vehicles and machinery, watching wrestling and western movies with his grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and a sister.
Herman leaves many happy and cherished memories.
He is survived by his wife, Bridgette Coward of Brundidge; sons, Richard (Trina) Davis of Troy and Michael (Kimberly) Coward of Crestview, Florida; daughters, Gerri Coward and Cora Coward; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Nebraska Coward of Union Springs, Charlie Coward of Crestview, James Coward of Tampa, Florida, Andrew Coward of Virginia and Henry Coward of Augusta, Georgia; sisters, Lula Coward of New York and Laura Robinson of Warner Robins, Georgia and several nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Coward, Jr., Kirby Coward, Raynard Coward, Joseph Robinson, Jr., Bernard Rogers and Willie Rogers.
