Troy to discuss road project tonight

The Troy City Council will meet tonight, and Mayor Jimmy Lunsford is set to propose what he calls an “emergency resurfacing project.”
If approved by council members, portions of between 14 and 26 roads could soon undergo construction. The project would be funded by the city of Troy’s gas tax fund, set aside only for capital improvements on roads.
