With the first recreation tournament of the summer taking place in Troy on Saturday, teams from all over the state made their way to the Troy Parks and Recreation Sportsplex.

However, thanks to Mother Nature, their stay was shorter than anticipated.

Heavy winds and rains stopped all four single elimination warm up tournaments from concluding around 4:30 in the afternoon.

Each of the leagues, the Belles, Angles, Darlings and Ponytails, were able to complete their individual pool plays, which took place from 8:30 a.m. to around 2:30 p.m. however, most of the single elimination tournament games were either halted in the first round of play.
