Suspects identified in robbery

The Troy Police Department has identified three suspects in a robbery incident reported early Wednesday morning.

Around midnight Wednesday, residents of a Keen Road home reported three suspects robbed and burglarized their home, said Troy Police Chief Anthony Everage.

Three black males have been taken into custody in connection with this case, but their identities will not be released pending arrest.

Troy Police detectives have obtained warrants for robbery first degree and burglary first degree on the three suspects.

Troy Police spokesman Sgt. Benny Scarbrough said there was property taken in the incident, but he would not be specific on what was taken or if it had been recovered. He also would not say whether the suspects were armed at this time.

Police continue to follow-up on leads and the possibility more perpetrators may be charged in this case, Scarbrough said.
