Francis T. Connor, 82, of Greenwood died Saturday, May 30, 2010 at Marianna Health and Rehab Cneter.
A Native of Pike County, Alabama, Mr. Connor was a former resident of Orlando where he retired from the Orlando Utility Company.
A resident of Jackson County since 1987, Mr. Connor was a U.S. Navy veteran, a mason and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Marianna.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Myrtis Whittington Connor.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Mattie Burch Connor of Greenwood; two sons, Thomas Connor and wife Kathy, Christopher Connor and wife Maria all of Orlando; one daughter, Diane Axel of Orlando; two-step sons, Lynwood Burch and wife Linda of Marianna, Wendell Burch of Greenwood; three step-daughters, Shirley Simmons and husband Johnnie of Compass Lake, Hazel Rush and husband Lloyd of Chipley and Alice Taylor of Marianna; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Maddox Chapel with Willie Nix and Gerald Gause officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
