Pike Animal Shelter is looking for donations for its “Going to the Dogs” yard sale Saturday, May 15.

The event will be held at the Sears Store on U.S. Highway 231 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

All of the proceeds raised are “going to the dogs” in order to build a new animal shelter located on Henderson Highway.

Donations are being accepted until Friday afternoon.

Transportation is no hassle. The Rover Rummage Route can pick it up. Simply contact “Rover” to make an appointment for pickup on Thursday between 3 and 6 p.m. or Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Pike Animal Shelter is accepting electronics, furniture, home goods, appliances and anything else except for clothing to sale at the yard sale.
