Graveside services for Forrest Milton Battle, age 64, of Pine Level, AL, who died May 1, 2010 in Baptist Medical Center East, Montgomery, surrounded by his family, will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Edwards Cemetery, Hwy 37 (Old Union Road) with Rev. Mac Moore officiating, Gray Funeral Home directing.
A visitation was held from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2010 from Gray Funeral Home.
Mr. Battle was born on August 29, 1945 and is preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Elton Battle, Sr. and Laura Ora Lee Battle of Fitzpatrick, Alabama.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sibyl Louise Battle; his four sons and their families: Wayne Battle of Phoenix, AZ, Kelvin Battle of the Seattle, WA area, David Battle of Alexander City, AL and Timothy Battle of Pine Level, AL. He is survived by five grandsons, two granddaughters, brother Franklin Elton Battle, Jr. of Banks, AL, three sisters Edna Jean King of Griffin, GA, Ann Ramey of Montgomery, AL and Carol Battle of Fitzpatrick, AL.
