Like the baseball team, the Pike Liberal Arts softball team hit the road to Fort Dale on Tuesday.

And like the baseball team, the Patriots came home with a victory, defeating the Eagles 10-0 in five innings.

Kailee Taylor got the win for PLAS, throwing a complete game, two-hit shutout, helping improve her team to 13-4 overall on the season.

Rebecca Farrar led the way at the plate, finishing 4-4 with an RBI.

Taylor helped herself at the plate by going 3-4 with two RBIs while J.J. Jones finished 2-3 with a RBI.

Both Ellie Barron and Shelby Broadway finished the game going 2-4.

Barron added two RBIs while Broadway added one.

The Patriots will be on the road again Wednesday against Macon-East.
