The Pike Liberal Arts softball team got its week started off on the right foot thanks to a 4-0 victory on the road over Lakeside Monday night.

The win improves the Patriots to 12-4 on the season.

Shelby Broadway pitched all seven innings for PLAS, giving up four hits while striking out six.

At the plate, Sarah Richburg knocked it almost all of the Patriots’ runs, finishing 2-3 with three RBIs.

Ellie Barron also went 2-3 at the plate.
