Mary Frances Hazen Locklar age 84 of Troy died Friday, March 26, 2010 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 1:00 pm from the Bush Memorial Baptist Church with Revered Otis Derrah, Dr. Don Hatcher, and Reverend Heath Kohlbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. She will lie-in-state at the church one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Reverend Wayne and Alyene Locklar of troy, 4 granddaughters and their husbands, Julianne and Judson West, Meredith and Gordon Hatcher, Whitney and David L. Adams Jr., and Cameron Locklar, a sister Sara Nell Golden, Great grandchildren Parish Adams, Ansley Adams, Jackson West, Mary Hayden West, Addison Hatcher and Dutch Adams. Sisters-in-law Jewel Hughes and Sara Hughes and a nephew Rick Golden.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Carey Franklin Locklar and her parents Everett and Lila Mae Hazen.
Active pallbearers will be Judson West, Gordon Hatcher, David L. Adams Jr., Rick Golden, Allan Pennington, Michael Bufford Stephens, Bart Snyder and Robin Snyder.
Honorary pallbearers will be Myrtle Renfroe, Tommy and Liz Russell, Mae Spurlock, Melba Adams, Clavin Sunday, and the Employees of the State Highway department.
