Tommy Jerry Linzey, 63, of Troy, AL passed away on February 25, 2010. He was born July 31, 1946
Tommy was preceded in death by his mother and father, Johnnie B. and Katie Lucille Pedigo Linzey; a sister, Nancy Ann Gearhart; two brothers, Tony Ray Linzey and James Franklin Linzey.
He is survived by one daughter: Michelle Leigh Copeland (Todd) of Troy, and one son, Jacob Thomas Linzey, of Poughkeepsie, New York; four brothers: Johnny Rex Linzey and Terry Lynn Linzey of Phoenix, AZ; Ted Eric and Charles Nicholas Linzey (Jonie) of Troy; four sisters: Lamonia Sue Kohler (Konrad), Patricia Lane Case (Ron), April Joy Campbell (Norman), and Precious Arlene Sanchez of Lampasas, Texas; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many wonderful friends.
Pall bearers are Ron Case, Norman Campbell, Konrad Kohler, Louis Brown, Bobby Middleton, Allan Pennington, Michael Bundy and Ken Walker. Honorary pallbearers are J.C. Parrent, Garry Middleton, Wade Lowry, Kenny Brown, Stephen Stanley, Jeff Kervin and Delaney Kervin.
Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy, Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Services will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 4:00 pm at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Reverend Clifford Matthews officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Mr. Linzey will lie-in-state for one hour prior to the service at the church.
