Brundidge Police are on the search for a Pike County High eighth grader, who was reported missing Monday morning.

Police Chief Moses Davenport said 14-year-old Amber Price, of Brundidge, was reported missing by her father early Monday.

Jamie Duffell, Price’s aunt, said her niece woke up around 5 a.m. Monday and went outside. Since, the family has not seen her.

“We went to check on her, and she was gone,” Duffell said. “She has left home before, but she’s always come back or been found that next morning.”

This time, it’s been five days.

“We have no idea where she could go. We have checked everywhere we know to check,” Duffell said.

Davenport said as of Friday afternoon, Price had made contact with her biological mother on the phone. But, they still were unsure where she was located.

Price is described as a white female with brown eyes and hair and a medium complexion. She is about 5’3 in height, Davenport said.

Price lives with her father Chris Adamson. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Brundidge Police Department at 735-3333 or Duffell at 372-3050 or 243-5229. They can also call Adamson at 735-5689 or 372-8068.

“I would tell her that we miss her, and we love her, and we’re looking for her,” Duffell said. “All she’s got to do is call us.”
