Mr. William H. Howard, Sr. completed his “humbly dignified” legacy here on earth, on February 18, 2010, at the age of 82 years old. He passed away at home surrounded by his family. He was born April 8, 1927, in Goshen, Alabama to Harry Howard and Estelle Davis Howard. Mr. Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, his father, Harry Howard, mother, Estelle Davis Howard, one brother, Paul Howard, one sister, Jeanette Howard, and one sister-in-law Bula “Polly” Howard.
Mr. Howard is survived by four children, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great-great children.
A time of visitation will be held Sunday, February 21, 2010 from 6pm-8pm at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 22, 2010, at 1:00pm at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jeff Cain officiating. A graveside service will follow in the Howard Family Cemetery, with military honors.
