Mr. Benjamin Franklin “B.F.“ Ketcham, age 91 of Clio passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 2 pm Thursday. Feb. 18, 2010 at Pea River Presbyterian Church Cemetery with military honors and Keahey Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Margaret Anne Ketcham (Mike) Abercrombie of Clio Daughter-in-law, Barbara Ketcham Calhoun of Troy
Grandchildren Lois Ketcham (Ronald) Floyd of Troy Benjamin LaDon (Karen) Ketcham of Jack Alicia Ann Ketcham (William) Senkel of Lewisville, Texas
Great Grandchildren Allen Floyd, Rachel Floyd, Faith Ketcham, Alex Ketcham, Lexi
Senkel, Alyssa Senkel, and Elijah Senkel Special caregivers, Mildred Gamble
Berlinda Scott, Annie Floyd, and Carla Shaw Beloved pets, Blackie, Trouble, Smudge, and Smut.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice or to the local humane society.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Margaret McRae Ketcham in 2006 and by his son, Benjamin Franklin Ketcham, Jr. and brother, Leon Ketcham and sister, Caivus Ivey. A lifelong resident of Barbour County, he served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked with Pea River Electric Coop for 55 years and retired at the age of 89. At his death, he was the longest time employee of the company.
Serving as pallbearers will be employees of Pea River Electric and honorary pallbearers will be retirees of Pea River Electric.
