Services for Annie Ruth Scott will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Endtime Deliverance Church, Troy, Alabama, with Bishop W. C. Scott officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery, under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home, Troy.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010, at George F. Grubbs Funeral Home, Troy, Alabama.
Annie Ruth Scott was born February 20, 1944 to the late Mr. Charlie and Mrs. Rosie Lee Scott.
Ms. Annie was called home to rest on January 30, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister that she joins in heaven, the late Mr. Hayward Scott, Mr. Luther Scott, Mr. Donald Scott, Mr. Jeffery Scott, Willie D. Scott, and the late Mrs. Mary Lee Croswell.
She leaves to cherish her in memory: three devoted children, one son, Mr. Lewis Scott, and two daughters, Mrs. Shirley (William) Cogburn and Ms. Jennifer Scott, all of Troy, AL; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Wright, Ms. Lovie Scott, and Mrs. Dorothy Tolbert, all of Troy, AL; eight grandsons, Willis Cogburn, Darius Grant of Colorado Springs, Jabari and Justin Jones, Jabronski Williams, JaCoby Cogburn, Keyontre Scott and Adrian Sampson, all of Troy, Alabama; two great-grandchildren, Gavin Cogburn of Troy and Amari Jones of Enterprise; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other special relatives and friends.
