Charles T. Barbaree, age 68, of Troy, AL. died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Troy Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Charles T. Barbaree will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy. Burial will follow at Griffin Cemetery, Gardner Bassett Rd, Troy, AL. under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy. Mr. Barbaree was born October 12, 1941 in Pike County Alabama, son of the late V.E. and Claudene Mullis Barbaree. He was an automotive mechanic and served our country in the U.S. Army for 12 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Joseph (Joe) Barbaree, William (Bill) Barbaree, Dewey (Yunk) Barbaree and a sister Myra Wright. Survivors include his wife: Carola Barbaree, daughter: Bobbi Charlene Schmich and 3 grandchildren, all of Mannheim, Germany; 2 brothers and sister-in-law: Robert (Bob) and Shirley Barbaree and Lester (Jack) Barbaree all of Pensacola, Fl; sister and brother-in-law: Dorothy (Dot) and Byron Reddoch, Troy, AL; brother-in-law: James L. Wright, Pensacola, FL; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Nick Casalinuovo, Miky Casalinuovo, Christopher Childs, Ricky Childs, Byron Floyd and Ray Childs.
