Dorothy E. Witherington Fryman of Belvidere passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009 at home in Belvidere.
She was 79.
Born in Goshen, AL, she lived in Blairstown before moving to Belvidere 20 years ago.
A homemaker, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Belvidere.
She enjoyed piano playing, art and cooking. “Her family was her life”. Devoted mother of Sherry Marotta and her husband Charlie of Budd Lake, Thomas K. Fryman Jr. and his wife Penny of Massillon, OH and W. David Fryman of Atlanta, GA. Dear sister of Jean Lockley, Doris Mitchell and Laurie Slawson (all of Troy, AL). Loving grandmother of Joshua Fryman, Kenny Fryman, Jennifer Witzke, Christina Yetter and Catherine Marotta.
Cherished great-grandmother of 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Interment will follow in SpearsCemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
