The weather looks to be friendly to Pike County Residents today through the Thanksgiving weekend.
National Weather Service in Birmingham Meteorologist Mark Rose said the forecast looks good.
“Overall the forecast look pretty nice,” Rose said. “We’re not expecting any rain during the time period.”
According to Rose, highs for today and Friday will be near 60, but the weather will begin to warm up over the weekend as temperatures increase to the low-to-mid-60s on Saturday and Sunday.
Still, Pike County is looking for some chilly nights, with lows in the thirties.
Skies will be clear and sunny today and Friday, while some clouds will move in over the weekend, with Saturday being partly cloudy and Sunday mostly cloudy.
However, rain is expected to roll in Monday and Tuesday with 30 to 40 percent chances of precipitation each day.
