Barbara J. Laird, age 80, of Troy, AL, died Sunday, November 15,
2009, at her residence. Laird was employed as a homemaker, and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Tillery; one son, Jesse M.
Killingsworth; one sister, Elnora Wilson; seven grandchildren;18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Jensen “Doc” Laird. Funeral service for Mrs. Laird were held at Green Hills Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 16, 2009, with Rev. Jesse Killingsworth officiating. Interment will be at Ft. Baird Cemetery, New Mexico. Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Barbara J. Laird.
