Frank Leon Renfroe
Frank Leon Renfroe, 61, died November 7, 2009, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Frank was born on October 18, 1948, in Troy, Alabama, to J.W. and
Sara Margaret Renfroe. After graduating from Choate, he attended the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
Frank was a entrepreneur and pursued a number of different ventures, including marine travel, real estate and manufacturing.
Frank also enjoyed acquiring knowledge through travel, books and interactions with other people.
After retirement, Frank was a volunteer at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.
Frank is survived by his two brothers, Jake Renfroe of Pensacola, Florida and Gene Renfroe of Birmingham, Alabama, and by his two sisters, Joyce Hamil of Carrollton, Georgia and Betty Albritton of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, as well as by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gail Lamar.
His graveside service will be held Thursday, November 12th at 11:30 at Oakwood Cemetery on North Knox Street in Troy, Alabama. Family and friends will gather at the Emporium on 116 West Walnut Street immediately after the service.
